Beauty in our All

There's beauty in our all. God wants us to be all in with Him in every way, especially by giving Him our all, our everything. Yes all that we have, that's what He wants.
He does amazing things when all we say is "God, it's Yours, not my own." When we open our hands and release all we are, all we have, all we want to Him... He will do more than we can imagine. When all we have, all we are, all we do is His and He's the focus, life falls into place and we can trust His control.
“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered. “Bring them here to me,” he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. Matthew 14:17-19
They gave all they had and He used it for more. He turned it from little to much, what was seen as impossible, He made possible. Don't belittle your offering to Him. Give your all, He will use what you bring.
He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
Luke 21:2-4
He notices our all and blesses accordingly. One of my favorite verses I like to remind myself is Psalm 51:17
"My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise."
Often times, our all is a broken spirit. A broken heart. And it says that He doesn't despise that, He wants even that. When our sacrifice is ourselves, we are filled with Him, His presence, and His strength. So when all you have are five fish and two loaves, bring it. When all you have are two pennies, bring it. When all you have is a broken spirit, bring it. Bring all you have to Him everytime and He will fill your cup. The more of you that you give, the more of Him you'll receive. More of Him, less of you. What we see as "this is all I have," God sees it as "this is all I need." Don't belittle what you bring Him and what He can do with it. Five fish fed five thousand. What we see as nothing, He sees opportunity.
Our all to us might seem like it could never be enough or be used in anyway, but those are the moments He wants us to come to Him even more. It's in our brokenness and our weakness that His power is made perfect. If we only give Him the perfect areas of life, we would have very little to offer and God would get little glory. Offer Him the broken, imperfect, full, easy, hard, offer every part, every moment to Him. Give Him the glory. Let Him create beauty out of your sacrifice, your surrender of all.
