Life can be hard or easy, simple or complicated, full of people or lonely, life can be all of these things at once, or all of these things at different times, but there are so many different seasons of life we can be in. Everyone is in a different season of life, remember that. And remember YOU are in a different season of life than other people. Someone your age might be in a relationship, single, engaged, married, lonely, working, not working, a Christian, not a Christian, everyone is in their own place of life. And I love that. I love that you never know what anyone is going through, that everyone around you is going through something different. Often times, we sit in a season of life and anticipate the season of life we aren't in, we wait for what's next, or the next chapter... but what if we were just present where we are? I'm guilty of being ready for the next thing, to be done with a season, to want to skip to the next chapter already, but there's a reason you're still in the season you're in. God hasn't changed the weather, closed the chapter, shut the door, or moved on quite yet, why? Because He still has more to do here. You are where you are for a reason, it isn't in vain, it isn't to torture you, there's a reason. I'm almost finished with high school and at times I AM SO DONE AND SO READY FOR COLLEGE, but I know when I'm done, I'm going to miss it, this moment, senior year, graduation, high school, it only happens once, I won't be able to go back to it, so I am going to enjoy it, live it, and live it to the fullest. I'm going to fully embrace this time, because I'll miss it, and this is the season I'm in. Not all seasons are pleasant, they are hard too, they are dark, and difficult, but I know that even the hard seasons have a purpose! That's hard to believe sometimes... it's hard to look at everything and see the bad seasons you're going through and know God is using even that. But He uses evil for good (Gen 50:20) and His power is made PERFECT in weakness, when I am weak, then I am strong.

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:8-10

That is why we delight in these things, because in our weakness, we are strong, because when we are weak, God's power shines all the more, and He is our strength. Something that is strong forgets to glorify the thing that made it strong, but when something is weak, it always remembers to glorify what is greater. There will be days you are weak, maybe physically, mentally, or spiritually, or maybe al three, but remember... be present in this season, hold tight as the wind blows, He has you where you are for a reason. It may be to grow you, to show you, to teach you, to strengthen you, to shape you, I'm not sure, but be present and be ready to listen and see what He is teaching you right where you are. Is it rough, windy, shaky, uncertain, difficult, and leaving you weak? Child, remember; where you are is where you're supposed to be. Let the season pass when it's time, but also know when the right time is for you to take action and let go of the season. Summer allows spring to have its time, but it knows when it is time for summer, fall allows summer to have its time of sun and heat, but it knows when its time to change, winter allows fall to cool things down, but winter knows when it is its time to "shine." There's a time for everything. Trust God's timing in your life, if there is a time for everything, that means that each moment in your life, was timed... perfectly, the moment you're in was timed perfectly... it may not seem like it, but you have a God who sees the full picture. There's a reason. Be present where you are. Learn this seasons lesson.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
