Mankind can be silent or they can be loud, they can be loving or they can be hateful, they can have a positive influence or they can have negative influence. Choose what you want to be silent on and what you want to be loud about, but the Gospel does not leave you a choice, you need to be LOUD about and for the Gospel, for Him, and His Word. I get it, it's hard. You don't know what the outcome will be or how people will react, but despite those "what ifs" and "but how," we need to share the Truth. The Truth cannot be hidden, it needs to be shared. There is a lack of Truth, but an abundance of lies, of false truths circulating this world. We were not and are not called to sit and watch others do the work, we are called to not only be hearers, but doers of the word as well! (James 1:22). To be a follower of Jesus Christ does not mean we get to be lazy and let Him do it all, no we are required to work too.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, -Matthew 28:19

We are told to GO and make disciples. All throughout the new testament, we see Jesus taking ACTION, He does not just sit around, but rather, He travels, He speaks, He works, He does things. When people come to Him, praising Him, needing a miracle, needing Him to speak, what does He do? He listens. He works. He acts. If we all just sit back and watch people sin and place hope in things that will perish, without saying a word to them about the Truth, about the Hope we have, we have missed the opportunity to save a dead soul. We cannot stay silent. People stay silent about the Gospel and about God, mostly because they fear, they fear man, they fear their opinion, they fear their reaction, and I'll admit it can be scary, but we were not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7). Be bold. Jesus never held back from sharing the Truth, whether it offended people, frustrated people, convicted people, whether people mocked Him, questioned Him, or even killed Him, He did not care, He shared the Truth. You may be thinking, that's a big thing to ask of me... yes it is... but there's an even bigger God, who has called you to it, who is standing beside you, and who will empower you to do it. Jesus knew the questions people were going to ask, He knew the thoughts they were going to have, He knew that the most gruesome death awaited Him, yet He still shared Truth, because He also knew the important plan and the important sacrifice that had to be made for us. Share the Truth. Whether it is with your friends, family, or people you don't even know. I'm not even saying it needs to be to unbelievers, sometimes believers need to be reminded of the Truth of the Word, need to be reminded who God is, who Jesus is, and whose they are, but we fear. We fear people's opinions, being mocked or scorned, being rejected, we fear, and fear holds us back. The devil uses fear to hold us back from reaching even greater potential. Moses didn't think he spoke well, but he had faith that God would speak through him to the Israelites, and that's exactly what God did. Moses spoke truth to the Israelites when they were worshipping idols, disobeying God, not having faith in God, Moses spoke truth, even when it offended. Speak the Truth. It is offensive. You know why it's offensive? Because it convicts. Conviction reveals the dirtiest parts of us and some people don't like that, because people who know they are dirty, don't like to be reminded that they are. Conviction is not fun for anybody, those who are clean, are usually embarrassed they are dirty, and people who are dirty, just don't want to be reminded they are dirty. But as followers of Christ, we help people see the dirty, not in a rude way, but in a loving way. Christ was gentle, yet stern at times. Stand firm in your faith and don't be silent. The Gospel is meant to be shared. Jesus need to be proclaimed into this world. Live out your faith and when an opportunity comes, share that faith, that Truth, that Hope. Shine the Light inside of you.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. -John 1:5

Light overcomes the darkness, not the other way around, but if we continue to live in fear of the darkness, our light will never go further than us. But imagine... imagine if we were just confident in our Light and we just shone it, and we kept igniting other people's lights, and eventually with all the lights combined, darkness never stood a chance. YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. (Matthew 5:14). You are meant to shine and pierce the darkness. But you cannot pierce or push the darkness back if you continue to live in fear, because fear hides your light, diminishing it, leaving it only for you to see, leaving everyone else in darkness. This world is a dark place, it needs light, it needs truth. The Light, the Hope, the Truth. No more staying quiet, when the opportunity comes, speak, we can't stay quiet and accept sin, or evil, push back the darkness, speak Truth.
